It evaporated the moment I thought “I’ll remember”
The idea is clear for about four seconds. Opening an app, tapping “new”, choosing a date and a time takes longer than that, so the thought never makes it in. TodoLot asks for one thing: hold the button and say it all.
What to say
“Call the bank at 9, coffee with Anna at 1, pick up the cake at 4, pack the beach bag at 5, dentist on the 12th and remind me a day before, gym every Monday at 7.”
Commas, “and”, “then”: speak the way you would tell a friend. Times, dates, repeats and early nudges come from your words.
What happens next
- AI splits the dictation into separate tasks, each with its own time: six sentences become six alarms, one of them repeating, one with a nudge the day before.
- You see the whole set on one confirm screen and tap once. Nothing is scheduled until you do, and only you can change a time.
- From then on each task is a real alarm that rings and says itself. The ones without a time land in Someday, waiting for a date.
Make it stick
- No time to open the app? Say “Add task in TodoLot” to Siri from anywhere; Siri tasks are scheduled right away and read back to you.
- Mix in the small things: the Quiet chip on the confirm screen turns a task into a notification instead of an alarm, so the loud ones stay loud.
- Any language iOS dictation supports works; you pick it on the recording screen and the chip remembers the ones you use.
Free or Pro?
Free covers 3 voice tasks a day (one dictation can use several). TodoLot Pro removes the limit.
